New WestConnex M4-M8 Link has opened with lighting control by Lightmoves

The new WestConnex M4 and M8 extensions welcomed Sydney commuters for the first time at 3 am on the 20th of January, 2023.

Lightmoves’ commissioning engineer Josh Cooke was up programming lighting control for the M4 link ‘till the early hours.

This is the latest achievement in a longstanding project with WestConnex, beginning in 2019.

Lighting design was conceived by Lighting, Art + Science. Light fittings were from Space Cannon.

Lightmoves utilised a powerful lighting control system by Pharos Architectural Controls Ltd.
