Lightmoves Updates Fibre Optic Knowledge
At Lightmoves, we work closely with our suppliers to not only understand their products' capabilities, but also to develop an in-depth understanding of the components and technology within the product. The Lightmoves team was recently treated to a full-day training program with leading fibre optic system manufacturer Digilin P/L. Paul Troeger, Digilin's Production Manager, flew down from Queensland armed with a complete range of fibre optic termination components and innovative light fittings in addition to several of Digilin's new KINETIC fibre optic light sources. In addition to a general discussion of current trends in fibre optic special effects and architectural lighting, Paul left no stone unturned in his explanation of advanced lightsource optimisation procedures and the care and use of fibreoptic cables. Innovative applications in the lighting of heritage buildings, swimming pools and public spaces were of particular interest.
