Alfred Felton Hall Recieves High Commendation
Walton Construction received a well-deserved pat on the back recently at the Australian Institute of Building’s annual ‘Professional Excellence in Building Awards.’ They received a High Commendation for their work in constructing Melbourne Grammar’s new performing arts centre, Alfred Felton Hall, located at the Caulfield campus.
Walton’s project manager David Burnell, graciously acknowledged all the sub-contractors who were involved in the project and invited them to share in the accolades.
The quality of the work undertaken can largely be contributed to the design by Peter Elliott Architects and Denis Irving of theatrical consultants Entertech, as well as Walton’s decision to utilize a team of specialists to work on the project. Working as part of this successful team, Lightmoves supplied luminaires, Circuit Tube, stage communication (including paging and intercom), equipment racks, a DMX console and DMX distribution to the now award-winning performing arts centre.

other suppliers and sub-contractors who worked on this highly successful project.
