MCEC – Plenary Hall

2009 saw the opening of the southern hemisphere’s largest – and the worlds first 6 star energy rated – convention centre. The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, located in the new south wharf precinct, is one of the largest and more impressive projects seen in this state for many years. From the 5000+ seat Plenary Hall, to the 32 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, to the 1500 seat Grand Banquet Hall, this convention centre aims to position Melbourne very highly in the lucrative world convention market.

Lightmoves supplied the Dynalite lighting control system to the main Plenary Hall and the meeting rooms, as well as supplying TridonicAtco LED seat lighting to Plenary Hall.
